I recently discovered this initial release (2004) by the Roberto Fonseca Afro-Cuban Jazz Project. Mr. Fonseca is a now-well-known jazz pianist hailing from Havana, Cuba. There are several standouts (“Igbae”, “Negra Mia”, and “De Regreso”) on this album including an interesting take on “Over the Rainbow”.
